Here I talk for a while about the effects of the element separation option and show two contrasting lenses. I try to touch upon a number of other factors of the lens characteristics which should help explain a bit about the lens configuration options.
To clarify, though I say the test is shot on the Sony ‘A7S’ this is a mistake – the test was shot on the Sony A7R. I’ve been in discussion about the A7S during today and it must have been on my mind.
