The Getting To Zero Euthanasia (“G2Z”) is a national initiative of the Animal Welfare League of Queensland which is designed to provide resources for pounds and shelters who consider that it is an ethical imperative to pursue all available options to save or rehome homeless pets as opposed to utilising euthanasia as a default position.
The Sydney Dogs and Cats Home is proud to be the first pound in NSW to sign up to G2Z and, with the support of our community, we are confident that we can ultimately reach our goal of saving every healthy or treatable pet that comes into our care.
