Jeff & Cat: The Rooftop Proposal

5.24.12- New Orleans, LA- After two years together, Jeff Gapultos proposes to the love of his life, Cat Vo where their first date took place- The rooftop of Eiffel Society. The entire proposal was secretly filmed without Cat’s knowledge.

The background story in Jeff’s words:
Cat and I reconnected two years ago when I invited her to a Think Tank party at one of my favorite restaurants, LaThai Uptown. That also happened to be the same week my partners and I acquired the lease and keys to Eiffel Society. After the party at LaThai, I guess I wanted to show off a little, so I invited Cat to come to the rooftop of Eiffel. There we spoke for hours and that was the beginning of the story.
Fast forward two years later, I purposely did not do anything special for our 2-year anniversary. An action she rightfully did not appreciate and grudged over, causing me to temporarily remain in the dog house. A worthwhile and necessary evil… ALL to set up the cover story I needed to “make it up to her” by taking her out to relive our first date. With a little help of some of my dearest friends and family, it all lead to this very special moment… (she had no idea!)
